Thanksgiving Day Crafts for Toddlers

Thanksgiving Day Crafts for Toddlers

Who doesn’t love a good turkey handprint craft from a toddler? Well, I added some Thanksgiving Day crafts for toddlers to my FREE resource library and I wanted to share the ideas! You can make these on your own or grab the free printables I made for you at the bottom of this post!

Thanksgiving Turkey Craft for Toddlers

Build a Turkey

You can use this printable in a lot of different ways. I was a bit short on time when we made this one so my son used crayons to color it. If I were to do it over again though I’d have him paint it. With paint, it would stand out more but the crayons were still fun too. After little man colored it I then cut it out and glued it all together. Depending on your child’s age they could help you with that part. Another way this could be used is as a thankful turkey! Have your little one tell you 7 things they are thankful for and you can write each one on a feather before putting it together!

Thanksgiving Day Card

Thankful Card

With the card, I left room for you to put your child’s handprint on it or you could have them create their own picture too! You can then write a message inside the card and send it off to family and friends.

Gobble, Gobble

I left room on this Thanksgiving Day Craft for your toddler to put their handprints on to make two turkeys! I loved how this one turned out with our almost two-year-old’s little hands.

Happy Thanksgiving

With this printable, your toddler can paint the feathers of a turkey on the page. We used our Crayola dabbers to paint it but another fun way that I’ve seen this done was with a plastic fork and paint! Your toddler can stamp the back of the fork onto the paper and it looks more like little turkey feathers.

Lastly, there’s a coloring page in this resource in case your little one just feels like coloring! This can also be used as a thankful turkey too if you didn’t want to cut out and glue all of the pieces from the build a turkey activity!

I hope you have fun with these Thanksgiving Day crafts for toddlers! I always love to see them in action so feel free to share them in the comments below or tag me on Instagram!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
