Fall Craft for Toddlers

Fall Craft for Toddlers – Ages 1 and 2

Fun Fall Craft for Toddlers!

This fun and easy fall craft is great for toddlers that are 1 and 2 years old. It’s also great because it makes for a super cute fall decor piece for your home! You can make your own printout at home or grab the free PDF I have at the bottom of the post. Here are the quick steps for you.

Fall Paint Craft

Step 1: Prepare

Print out the page for your toddler to paint on and get the fall colored paints out (red, orange, yellow, brown). I also modeled and let my little man practice on a blank piece of paper first.

Step 2: Paint!

We found these super cute paint sticks at Target that made this project super easy for my 18-month-old. It seemed way easier for him to use fine motor wise over a paintbrush. I’ll link them here in case you want to grab them! (Paint Sticks) I’ve also seen other moms use a cotton ball and clothespin to make a paint dabber for their little ones as well.

Step 3: Dry and Display

Yay! Your toddler’s masterpiece is ready to hang up. I trimmed our page up so that it could fit in an 8×10 frame and it’s now proudly sitting on our entryway table! Don’t feel like putting it in a frame? That refrigerator magnet is always great too!

I hope this fall craft is a fun activity as the weather gets colder. Don’t forget to grab the free printable if you’d like!

Happy Fall Y’all!
