Free Center Rotation Chart Included!
I want to share with you the thing that has been the biggest game-changer for my center rotations. When I first started teaching my math and reading centers were so chaotic. I knew kids at other centers weren’t on task and the students in my small group weren’t either because we were interrupted every two minutes by someone wanting to know what center they were supposed to be at. If this sounds familiar to you I highly recommend a center rotations chart! I have lots of different options for sale in my teachers pay teachers store. Otherwise, you can grab a freebie at the bottom of the post!
Why have an Automatic PowerPoint Chart?
Well because it takes one less thing off of the to-do list for you. It allows students to become so much more independent by knowing where they need to be and where they are going next. Having it automatically change slides for you is also huge because it takes care of time management for both you and the kids. How great is that?!
Tips and Tricks in PowerPoint
The freebie included in your email can be completely edited. From colors to the number of groups. Whatever you need you can do. It also comes with some interchangeable center pictures if the ones in there don’t work for your classroom needs.
Did I mention you can change the time lengths? This can be done in the transitions tab of PowerPoint on the far right side. That way all the slides will change automatically without you having to go to your computer to change them.
The other thing I like to include in my PowerPoints is a 1-minute remaining slide to let everyone know it’s time to start wrapping up their stations. Also, who doesn’t need time to clean up? So a clean up slide is in there as well.
If you need more tips on managing centers you can check out my blog post here. I hope this helps your center rotation organization as much as it has helped mine! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below.
